We can't wait to meet you!
Jasmine is a born entrepreneur with a love for the business of healthcare. Along her journey, Jasmine found herself in a very dark place where anxiety & depression had taken root when she uncovered the power of yoga & dance. Jasmine fell so far in love that she became a Latin-style dance & certified yoga instructor. Ready to share the healing powers of yoga, self-inquiry & creative movement with the world the Dancing Lotus Yoga + Arts brand was born.
Chris was first introduced to Yoga on a date night with his future wife Jasmine. It was a game-changer for him and he soon found that it was much more than just the poses. Chris is an avid foodie and worked in the fast-paced, stress-filled restaurant industry for years. Yoga became a safe haven of stress relief, mental relaxation and physical transformation for him. He was able to tap into his breath and learned to dial down the external forces that left him mentally and physically drained.
Being a part of Dancing Lotus is truly a gift and one he wants to share with the community.

Kelly's journey with yoga began over 10 years ago. After finding a passion in her practice she decided to complete 200hr YTT in 2020. Through training, it helped her heal severe anxiety and past emotional wounds. She also found her enthusiasm ignited by leading students to get out of their minds and into their bodies. While Kelly is here at DLY, she looks forward to continuing her journey not only as a teacher but a forever student.
Her classes are suitable for all levels. She states, “I am a firm believer that yoga is for everyone and can be a great supplement to any lifestyle or exercise regimen.”
Kelly's approach to yoga is so much more than just the poses. Her classes focus on Vinyasa flow, and you can expect to move, breathe, sweat, and connect with yourself.

Gabriella "Brie" came to know the practice of yoga in 2013 at the same time she discovered her passion for holistic health and nutrition. Since then, she has been following her own health and fitness journey and learning to embrace her authentic self. She recently decided it was time to share her love of wellness with others and completed her 200hr YTT certification. Currently, Gabriella is pursuing a certification in holistic health coaching and looks forward to connecting with her community and supporting others in their personal journey to find their happiest, healthiest selves!
Amanda tried yoga for the first time in 2015 and fell in love with the practice of connecting to your breath, calming the mind, and strengthening the body all at the same time! In December 2018 she completed her 200-hour training with Ashley Masters & Cat Babbie of 9th Sign Yoga and in January 2020 she completed her 50-hour CHAKTI yoga certification with Lauren McAbee of Essential Thrive.
Amanda believes in encouraging others to love their unique selves and tap into their powerful energy and brings this mentality to her classes. She also loves music and uses this as a foundation for inspiring her classes from slow flow to vinyasa.
Bre Norton is a 200 hr certified Yoga Instructor through East+West Yoga. She discovered yoga at a very dark time in her life. After finding a consistent practice, she found that yoga began to bring calm to her body, and balance and clarity to a life filled with stress and anxiety. It has allowed her to let go of self-doubt and the pieces of the past that no longer serve her. This beautiful practice introduced her to a new life filled with acceptance and love.
She incorporates a variety of traditional practices in movement, breath, and meditation to help each student practice their own unique form of yoga. Bre believes that Yoga is so much more than a physical practice; yoga is healing, yoga is listening to your body and serving its needs, it is remaining teachable and discovering your truth. Her goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all; to encourage people to find space within themselves, in whatever way feels good in that moment.
With the healing Bre has received from yoga, she is passionate to create that same opportunity for others in the community. Bre is always eager to meet new yogis in the community and build a connection with her students!
Dani's yoga journey began in her hometown of Westchetser, NY back in 2013. Her passion for the practice blossomed and expanded as she entered college at High Point University a year later. Post Grad, she found her home right here in Charlotte, NC. After a year and half of practicing at a local studio, she decided to further her yoga journey through teacher training. She completed her 200 RYT Training at Charlotte Yoga with Jenn Eddins and assisted various classes shortly after.
She believes that yoga is for everyone and that is a practice of self-discovery. Teaching brings her immense joy because of the ability to share her passion and enthusiasm for the practice itself with the community. Off the mat you can find her outdoors, singing, practicing her handstands, reading, playing with dogs, and spending quality time with those who mean most. You can also find her on her social media, doing her best to spread positivity and love.
Ben (he/him) is a student and teacher of Yoga as a means to deepen the connection between his mind, body, breath, and community. Prior to discovering Yoga, Ben was an athlete in basketball, track & field, and weight training. Years of overuse led to injuries, and Ben was forced to sit. He began a daily meditation practice, which taught him to slow down and be more mindful about how he moves his body. He then dove into his personal yoga practice for several years before completing his 200-hour training and starting his teaching journey.
Ben’s goal as a teacher is to lead students through fluid vinyasa yoga that builds strength, creates flexibility and inspires growth - both on and off the mat.
Hello Friends! I'm Grace Millsap (she/her), and I'm currently located in Charlotte, NC (Catawba and Sugaree land). My passions are rooted in science and equality, which inform my teaching of Yoga, and how I show up in the world. I spent 5 years in the fast-paced, and high-pressure, scientist world where I conducted research for UNC-Chapel Hill in the intersecting fields of nutrition, genetics, and neuroscience.
In 2013, I completed my first Yoga teacher training, and immediately began to draw connections between modern science, and Yogic philosophy. I study, and teach, from a long lineage that believes that life is inherently beautiful, and that the path of Yoga is a tool set to better navigate the many twists and turns. Specifically, from the Tantra and Himalayan Traditions of Sri Vidya.
In 2017, I co-created “Ethics in the Yoga Community”, a dynamic series that looks at the tough topics in the community through facilitated panel discussions and group practices to foster trust and connection, that was featured in Yoga Journal. My classes, whether restorative or flow, are infused with my passions, and quest for magic and joy.
When not teaching, you can find me with my nose in a book, plotting new ways to disrupt the status quo, lounging with my teenager “puppy” Fizzgig, and soaking in the goodness of the many waves of life. I am a student first, and humbled to call myself a teacher of Yoga. I honor Asana as one tool, of many. I am always willing to evolve and (un)learn.
Reiki Master Practitioner
Dancing Mindfulness Facilitator
Aisha is also a holistic wellness practitioner. She is a Licensed mental health counselor by trade and absolutely loves helping others heal and find their voice. On the journey of infusing her career and love for helping others with her passion of dance, she began to study different healing modalities. She now incorporates therapeutic expressive arts (i.e. dance, healing sound, and energy work) into her already extensive skill set.
Her work helps clients to process unspoken trauma. Aisha believes that trauma is often stored in the body and that movement is a vital part of healing. She also believes in having fun, life is a party, let’s dance! Aisha has dibbled and dabbled in yoga for a few years now but decided to get serious about her yoga journey during the pandemic where stress was at an all-time high. Yoga has been an awesome addition to her personal practice and self-care and she is now working to become certified as a yoga instructor.
Hi there!! I’m Tiffany (the more you get to know me, it just becomes Tiff!!).
I am one of the few that are actually from this beautiful city, Charlotte. It is my home and I feel lucky to be able to share Yoga in beautiful spaces all over the city.
My sister introduced me to yoga over 8 years ago, after dancing for nearly 21 years, it was a seamless transition. It definitely wasn’t "love at first practice" for me, but after I realized in myself the differences that just practicing once a week consistently had brought, I needed to dive deeper. Daily practice led to the desire to share.
I didn’t really know what I was looking for when I researched all the yoga training offered. I knew I needed something different, to become my own. I found what I was looking for and completed my 200 hr training with Lisa Moore at Harmony Yoga in Charlotte in 2015. I’ve been teaching and studying different lineages of yoga since. It is my passion to share my light. With honor ♥️
