Dia de Los Muertos Yoga Flow

🕯️ As the vibrant marigold petals pave the way, and the sweet aroma of copal fills the air, we invite you to join us in celebrating Dia de los Muertos through a meaningful and transformative yoga flow and meditation. 

🕯️ Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a beautiful Mexican tradition that honors the lives of our loved ones who have passed away. It's a time when the boundaries between the living and the deceased blur, and the veil between worlds becomes thin. With a heart full of reverence and a spirit open to the cosmic dance of life and death, we will come together on the mat to remember, to honor, and to find connection through our practice.  

🧘‍♀️ Our Yoga Flow Journey: As the candles flicker and the altar gleams with memories, we'll begin our practice with a grounding meditation. Feel the Earth's support beneath you as you connect with the energy of your ancestors and loved ones. Breathe in their wisdom, and let it guide you through each posture.  As we wind down our practice, we'll embrace restorative poses, bathed in the gentle glow of candlelight. These moments of stillness and introspection provide an opportunity to connect with our loved ones, to listen to their whispers in the quiet spaces of our hearts.

This Dia de los Muertos, let's come together to honor life, remember those who have left this physical world, and celebrate the eternal cycle of existence. Through movement, breath, and intention, we'll tap into the deep well of love and memories that transcend time. 

Join us for this special yoga flow as we embrace the beauty of life and death as two sides of the same eternal coin.

What we will provide?

• A fully decorated ofrenda (alter) complete with marigolds and Mexican decor 
• A space for you to place the photo and/or item to commemorate your loved one
• A safe personal LED candle at your mat for you to hold space for your loved one 
• Food vendors that will be offering traditional Mexican Day of the Dead sweets 

What do I need to bring?

• A photo or personal item to commemorate your loved one
• Comfortable clothing for movement
• Yoga mat, if available (a small number will be available for use)
